Utah Dominates EY's 2026 Entrepreneur Of The Year Mountain West Awards

Utah entrepreneurs had a big week. Of the 12 winners named to Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2026 Mountain West Award — spanning Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming — half call Utah home, with Salt Lake City alone producing three winners.
The program, now in its fifth decade, honors founders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs driving innovation, growth and long-term value. An independent panel of past winners and top business leaders judged candidates on entrepreneurial spirit, purpose-driven leadership, and measurable growth and impact.
"These winners are founders reshaping their industries and redefining what it means to lead as entrepreneurs," said Jim Wilson, EY Partner and Entrepreneur Of The Year Mountain West Program Co-Director, noting their vision is building companies that create jobs and strengthen communities across the region.
Utah's Winners
Brian Beutler — Alianza (Pleasant Grove)
Allyse Jackson — Beehive Meals (Layton)
Ryan Anderson — Filevine (Salt Lake City)
Kyle Freebairn — Frazil (Salt Lake City)
Brett Hopkins — Ken Garff Automotive Group (Salt Lake City)
Jeff Reynolds — Sensapure Flavors (Salt Lake City)
Six Utah leaders taking home regional honors is a strong showing for a state that's become synonymous with Silicon Slopes' momentum — spanning fintech, logistics, food, legal tech and consumer brands.

Winners also join a lifetime, global community of entrepreneurs spanning more than 60 countries, with ongoing access to EY resources and peer insight.
The Entrepreneur Of The Year Mountain West Awards are supported by presenting sponsors PNC Bank, Cresa, Marsh Risk, SAP and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, alongside regional sponsors Big Picture, Perkins Coie, Strong & Hanni Law Firm, Truss, ADP, Pierpont Communications and Silicon Slopes.
