This SUMMIT is STACKED! Mark Your Calendar

Utah's technology community has needed this for a while.
On September 11, 2026, it arrives.
STACKED Summit is Utah's premier event on AI, cybersecurity, SaaS, and data analytics. The inaugural summit takes place at Salt Lake Community College, and we built it for the people closest to the work: the builders, operators, engineers, and executives who are navigating the most consequential shifts in the industry right now.
Tickets are now available. Sponsorship opportunities are open. We are accepting speaker proposals.
Be part of the first one.
September 11, 2026. Salt Lake Community College.
Start School Welcomes: Ryan Gardner

Ryan Gardner helped build Bucked Up from a small startup into one of the fastest-growing sports nutrition brands in the country. What began as a supplement company has grown into a nationally recognized brand with a loyal following, major retail presence, and a culture that stands out in a crowded market.
In this Start School session, Ryan will share what it actually took to build Bucked Up in the early days, how the company broke through with bold marketing and brand building, and the lessons he’s learned while scaling a business in an increasingly competitive world.
We’ll also talk about entrepreneurship, leadership, discipline, building community around a brand, and how founders can stay focused while navigating growth, pressure, and uncertainty.
As always, this won’t be a lecture. It will be an honest conversation with someone who has built a company from the ground up, followed by audience Q&A and discussion with attendees.

StartFEST Inspired Us. Keep The Learning Going With Start School

We launched Start School in February. 450 companies have been accepted since then. We average 25 new applications a day. (Can you believe that?? I don't think anything like this has ever happened in Utah.)
A lot of those in Start School already have stable, high-paying jobs. They're joining because AI is going to change their work and might take it, and they would rather build something of their own than wait for someone else to decide their future.
Start School is free. No tuition, no equity, no angle. Silicon Slopes built it with Mountain America Credit Union. 150 mentors. Weekly sessions with CEOs who have actually built companies. Start Squads of four to six who meet every week and build together. Online courses that are self-paced.
Start School has just two rules: 1. Show up. 2. Give more than you take.
Silicon Slopes has always believed the chances you give matter as much as the chances you take. Start School is us, meaning it.
If you're in Utah and you've been waiting to start, the door is open.
Silicon Slopes Chapter News
GTM Chapter: Dr. David Morgan: AI May Be Reshaping More Than Your Job

In this episode of Go-To-Market, Amy Osmond Cook sits down with licensed psychologist, business consultant, and mental health expert Dr. David Morgan to explore one of the most overlooked challenges facing modern organizations: the mental health of employees navigating rapid technological change.
With more than 20 years of clinical experience and over 20,000 clients treated, Dr. Morgan shares why anxiety is thriving in today's workplace, how AI is influencing human connection, and why resilient organizations will outperform those that ignore employee well-being.
This conversation goes far beyond wellness initiatives. Dr. Morgan makes the case that workplace mental health should be treated as a risk management priority—just as important as cybersecurity, compliance, or operational planning.
MHM: Chris Yadon: The Childhood Survival Skill That's Destroying Adult Relationships

In this episode of Mental Health Momentum, host Dr. David Morgan sits down with Chris Yadon, Managing Director of the nonprofit organization Saprea and author of the forthcoming book Numb: Learning How to Feel in a Disconnected World.
Chris shares a personal story of growing up amid family instability, emotional pain, and uncertainty and how those experiences taught him to disconnect from his feelings in order to survive.
For years, emotional numbing helped him cope. But when he found himself unable to grieve the loss of his beloved grandfather, he realized the protective wall he had built had become a prison.
