Silicon Slopes Conversations: Crystalee Beck and Lindsey Ivie Talk With Jeff Durham

In this episode of Silicon Slopes Friday Conversation, we meet two unstoppable founders who are redefining what success looks like for women in business.

Crystalee Beck, founder of The Mama Ladder and Co-CEO of Comma Copywriters, shares how she turned unemployment and exhaustion into a movement that gives mothers time and money freedom without guilt or compromising family life. What started as a necessity for her became a revolution for others.

Then, Lindsey Ivie, founder of FailedFest, gets candid about failure, burnout, and the painful identity crisis that followed the collapse of her first startup. But out of those ashes? A mission to make entrepreneurship more honest, human, and whole.

If you’ve ever questioned whether you can build a business and a life you love, this conversation will change how you define success.

Register at Silicon Slopes Community Hub to catch thought-provoking conversations every day of the week.

Silicon Slopes Launches The Dinner Club

In case you missed the recent news from Clint Betts, Silicon Slopes is thrilled to introduce The Silicon Slopes Dinner Club.

Some of the best business conversations don’t happen on stage or in conference rooms — they happen over dinner.

That’s why we’re launching Silicon Slopes Dinner Club, an evening with intimate gatherings of Utah’s founders, builders, and creators where real conversations happen.

No pitches. No agendas. No pressure. Just small groups connecting over great food, honest stories, and shared experiences.

Here’s how it works:

Take a quick personality quiz

Get matched with five other community members

We pick the restaurant, handle logistics — you just show up

We’ve seen this community come alive in moments when people let their guard down, share what they’re actually struggling with, and help each other grow. That’s what this is all about.

Our next dinner: November 12th at 7:00 PM

Salt Lake City, Lehi, and Provo

If you’ve been craving real connections with other builders — this is for you.

Can’t make it? Sign up anyway to get notified about future dinners.

This is how we grow — together.
